New monthly Foreign Trade report: November 2021

Uruguayan exports set a new record, with an increase of 60% and in interannual terms they grew by 51%. From Uruguay XXI, the most important points of the report stand out:

• In November 2021, export requests including free zones totaled US$1,097 million, indicating an increase of 60% in year-on-year terms. The increase in exports of beef, cellulose, beverage concentrate, malt and electricity are the goods with the greatest positive impact that explain the monthly variation.

• In the accumulated January-November 2021, exports totaled US$ 10,390 million, registering an increase of 42% compared to the same period in 2020. Beef, electric energy, cellulose, wood, meat by-products, soybeans and beverage concentrate are the products with the greatest positive impact on the variation of the period.

• Topic of the month: the Exporter's Route is presented, the new tool developed by Uruguay XXI aimed at promoting the internationalization of micro, small and medium-sized companies.
